This class is designed to build strength and flexibility through a set sequence of postures drawn from the Ashtanga primary series, while also calming the mind and reducing stress through breathing exercises, meditation, and chanting. Three Jewels Yoga is rooted in ancient yogic techniques from Ashtanga and Tibetan Buddhism. By regularly attending this class, you will definitely see improvements in strength, flexibility, endurance, and confidence in your physical and mental states of being.

Instructor
Stephen McManus was originally introduced to yoga and meditation as a child from his mother. After spending many years resisting all religion and spirituality, he found himself practicing meditation as a way to cope with anxiety and stress. After moving to New York City in 2012, he discovered Buddhism through his partner at the time and began a deep practice of meditation and yoga. He completed a 108 hour meditation teacher training at Three Jewels and a 200 hour yoga teacher training privately with master yogini, Coco Korniczky.
